Boundin' is a computer animated Pixar short film by Bud Luckey, that shows secondary action very well. Secondary action is an action that is enriching the main action. In the short, secondary action is most recognizable in the dancing. For example, at the beginning of the short when the sheep is dancing with all the fur. There are many secondary actions that add to the dancing. The primary action is the movement of the feet, which is fast and looking like an Irish jig. The secondary action would be the movement of his arms which move up and down, swinging to the beat of the music. Plus, when his fur coat bounced up and down, it showed that he was dancing. Those secondary actions did not take away from the primary action of his feet dancing though. I liked the secondary actions added because they added to the movement of the character and helped me understand what was going on better. For the overall animation, I can relate this to myself because I know the feeling of being different or losing your friends because you are doing something different. This animation is also computer animated because it is all digital and has three dimensional characters. All in all, this is a great example of secondary action!
